23 Sep Fall Has Arrived: We Went Apple & Pumpkin Picking!

The Fall Season has arrived in Westchester County! This week the Resident’s at Constellations Recovery enjoyed a lovely outing of apple picking and pumpkin picking. We visited the Harvest Moon Farm during the Orchard Fall Festival, which will run throughout the fall months.

Harvest Moon is a family owned and operated community friendly apple orchard located in Westchester County. They strive to provide the community with fresh, locally grown foods in a fun and inviting atmosphere.

Each Resident also picked their own pumpkin, which we plan to have them carve as Halloween approaches! At Constellations Recovery community-based activities like these help build confidence and prepare our residents for life after sober-living.
